Cardigan Bay is the large bay that sits between Bardsey Island at its tip and St Davids at its foot. The bay encompasses many iconic welsh towns and villages including Abersoch, Pwllheli, Criccieth, Barmouth, Tywyn, Aberdyfi, Aberystwyth, Aberaeron, New Quay, Cardigan and Fishguard. The bay enjoys some of the most stunning scenery in the whole of the UK and offers extraordinary wildlife including dolphins and seals. The bay also has several popular surfing spots, including the harbour at Aberystwyth. |
